In the control loop of the elevator car, the limit switch is also used to control the opening and closing speed of the landing door, the positioning of the automatic door opening and closing, and the upper and lower limit protection of the elevator car.
What are the three major points to pay attention to when using limit switches?
1. Electrical Standards
The switching quantities of AC and DC are very different. Please apply limit switches in the category of ratings. DC quota, low control. This is because it has no zero point, it is difficult to subside once the arc is caused, and the arc time is long. And the direction of the current is certain, so the touch transfer occurs, so that the touch will not be disconnected due to asymmetry.
2. Touch protection circuit
To prolong the life of the limit switch contact, avoid noise and reduce arcing caused by carbon or sodium cyanide, this contact should be used to protect the power circuit. But if the operation is wrong, it is likely to do more harm than good.
3. Application environment
Do not use limit switches alone in the presence of flammable or combustible gas mixtures. Arcs from thermal switches can cause fire or explosion. The switch is not a moisture-proof sealed structure, and a protective cover should be used to prevent oil or water from overflowing, flying or dust adhering to the direct liquid.
