Silver Contact 250V Self-Resetting Limit Micro Switch

    The travel switch (also known as a limit switch) is an automatic control component triggered by mechanical motion. Its core function is to detect the displacement or stroke of an object to achieve the opening and closing of circuits, the start and stop of equipment, or limit protection. It is an indispensable 'safety sentinel' and 'action commander' in industrial automation and electromechanical equipment.

    Structure and Principles:
    The limit switch typically consists of three components: the triggering mechanism, the contact system, and the housing. The triggering mechanism (such as a roller, lever, or button-type contacts) directly contacts the moving parts, and when the component moves to the preset position, the triggering mechanism is actuated to drive the internal mechanical structure, which causes the contact system (normally open / normally closed contacts) to operate, thereby disconnecting or connecting the control circuit. Some high-end models also feature waterproof sealing structures (such as IP65/IP67 protection) and corrosion-resistant housings (made of stainless steel or engineering plastics), suitable for complex working conditions.

    Key Performance Features:
    High Reliability
    : Most contact points are made of silver alloy material, offering low contact resistance and strong arc resistance, with a lifespan exceeding 1 million cycles, capable of withstanding frequent mechanical wear due to start-stop operations;
    Precise Triggering: The trigger stroke error is minimal (typically ±0.1mm to ±1mm), enabling accurate control of equipment movement boundaries to prevent overtravel damage;
    Wide Compatibility: Rated voltage covers common specifications such as AC 220V/380V and DC 12V/24V, with current ranging from 1A to 10A, suitable for different loads like motors, solenoid valves, and PLCs;
    Safety Protection: Certain models feature overload protection and short circuit protection, and the casing has a wide temperature resistance range (-30ºC to 80ºC), allowing stable operation in harsh environments such as extreme temperatures, dust, and humidity.
